Law-critical authorizations
Unclear responsibilities, especially between business and IT
SAP authorizations control the access options of users in an SAP system, for example to personal data. Managing this access securely is essential for every company. This makes authorization concepts, authorization tools and automated protection of the SAP system all the more important.

Assigning clear authorizations to employees is not a sign of mistrust, but offers a high level of protection - both for the company and for the employees themselves. By assigning SAP authorizations on a role-specific basis, each employee is given access to the system according to his or her task.
Object S_BTCH_ADM (batch administration authorization)
How do I make an authorization trace on a user (STAUTHTRACE)? With the authorization trace you can record which authorization objects are used by a user. This helps, for example, in the creation of suitable roles: - Call the transaction STAUTHTRACE - Specify the desired user and start the trace - Let the user call his transaction - Stop the trace (Important, do not forget!) - Evaluate the results.

As the rolls pass, the value ranges for the field in question are searched within a role. Automatic cleanup occurs by writing both value ranges together in all fields. Therefore, you should clean up these entries before you start and create two different roles if necessary. The PFCG_ORGFIELD_CREATE report provides a test run that allows you to identify all the affected roles. The Status column provides an overview of the status of the permission values. If the status is yellow, there are different value ranges for the field within the role; the role must therefore be adjusted.

With "Shortcut for SAP systems" you can automate the assignment of roles after a go-live.

If there are no buttons for copying and pasting in the PFCG transaction, you can simply insert them.
