Standard authorisation
SU2X_CHECK_CONSISTENCY & SU24_AUTO_REPAIR
If you do not want to use reference users, you can hide the Reference User field for additional permissions via a standard variant for the transaction SU01. The necessary steps are described in SAP Note 330067.

SOS reports can be very comprehensive. In particular, if the Whitelists are not yet maintained, reporting volumes of up to 200 pages are not uncommon. Do not be discouraged in such a case, but start by cleaning up a manageable amount of critical SOS results. You can then edit the further results in several rounds. The AGS recommends which critical SOS results you should consider first; You can find these in the AGS Security Services Master slide set in the SAP Service Marketplace Media Library.
User Information System (SUIM)
It is best if the persons responsible for the system develop role descriptions with their departments in advance and document them outside SAP SuccessFactors (e.g., as in Fig. 2). In case of queries, they can use this basis to explain exactly why someone has been given a certain authorization. The role descriptions and the report help to work in a DSGVO-compliant manner. Since the report updates automatically, companies have no additional effort to document the changes - one less unloved (and often "forgotten") task.

In many distributed organisations, the Profit Centre is used to map out the distributed units. However, this was only possible for FI with additional programming. In integrated data flows in SAP ERP, the sending application usually does not check the authorization objects of the receiving application. Financial Accounting (FI) in SAP does not check permissions for cost centres and profit centres. However, depending on the case of use, this may be necessary, e.g. if distributed entities are to operate as small enterprises within the enterprise and only collect and view data for this particular unit at a time. With the introduction of the new general ledger, SAP has technically merged the financial accounting and the profit centre account, so that the question of the inclusion of profit centre allowances in FIs becomes even more important.

For the assignment of existing roles, regular authorization workflows require a certain minimum of turnaround time, and not every approver is available at every go-live. With "Shortcut for SAP systems" you have options to assign urgently needed authorizations anyway and to additionally secure your go-live.

In the selection screen of the report that appears, you can select the multiple selection to the User field by clicking the arrow button and insert the users from your selection by pressing the button (upload from clipboard).

Reasons for incorrect organisational levels are values that have been manually maintained in the authorization object itself, instead of using the Origen button, as well as incorrect transports or incorrectly created or deleted organisational levels.
